For couple of weeks I was given my friends Tippmann 98, just a regular 98 not custom not pro... after I was done with it, it is both now.

Basic problem was no speed, it shot 150 - 160, still re-cocked but barely. Adjustments of the velocity screw did nothing, first I added the 32 Degrees Velocity Adjuster, it requires no tools and looks good, like like twisted volumizer for spyders but with better purpose and mounted in the back. Also allows you to install different springs without opening the whole marker which I found the most inconvinient on a Tippman, I work on tubed markers like spyders or pumps, Tippmann definatelly was never meant to be field stripped. Anything you want to put into the marker you need to take it apart first. Below is a picture of our victim. I did a pretty good job at equiping this bad boy with the cyclone feed.
