Paintball Section : Info Page: Tool Box
The right tools for the job!
You dont have to be an airsmith to need a proper tool kit. A player should always have tools to service their equipment, and a player should know how to service his/hers equipment, concept is simple: if one man created it, the another one can understand how it works and be able to fix it when it breaks. This applies to markers, hoppers, goggles (little warning there), and any other possible equipment.

What you need in your toolbox:

Hex key set - every marker has hex screws, spyders and tippmans, even Angels pretty much just any thing in paintball has those. It doesnt hurt to have 2 sets just in case (metric and imperial).

Spare o-rings - buy a bulk pack of 100 rings (E-BAY) and put some in your kit then get a spring loaded key clip put like 10 there and clip it to your pants, vest or shirt so when you blow an oring on the field you will always have a spare on you.

Marker Oil - to lube the rings and other internals. (ACI air lube or Extreme Rage oil)

Air sealant - teflon tape (sold in home depot plumbing section for $2 a roll) or thread sealer like Black Swan air sealant (about $5).

Regular Wrench and Monkey wrench - to undo those pesky fittings, gauges and any other things

Spare air hose (or macro lines) just incase you blow the current one on the field.

Screw drivers - they always help

Clean wipes to clean parts which would get soaked with paint, water ect... hand towel is great for that, you can use it as a mat to field strip your marker.

Lense cleaner or just watered down Windex
- (some say don't use windex on goggles because it is ammonia based but I seen people do it over the years with no apparent damage, it might take off tint or monochromatic coating but I don't see how it can damage the lense correct me if i'm wrong, mail me) and some paper towels.

If your marker and hopper are electronic make sure you got spare batteries.
- I carry most parts that i swapped out in the process of upgrading my marker
just in case new swap fails, or starts acting up, I can quickly go for old one.

On the left:

My basic tool box, on the right lower corner, ACI Air Lube, for oiling the marker and keeping the o-rings moist, beside it 2 sets of hex keys, metric and imperial, tigershark bolt and PMI green bolt and original low pressure chamber. Above those, hoses, and macro line, flathead and philips screwdrivers, and spare fittings for my Java mask, left the zip lock with black stuff are 150 O-rings (different types), extra fittings for macroline above, O-rings for pirahna hammer(diff. size than trh O-rings). Pirahna emergency kit, extra cup seal, some O - rings, and some extra screas, and 2 different 32 Degrees hammer springs. Its just to show you what to get. I add or pull out parts and things from it all the time as needed. The plastic box can be bought at home depot for 5 - 7 bux.
